Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Training
This course will cover the basics of ADA law and describe circumstances and scenarios that may lead to allegations of violations of ADA. The course will also explore actual cases and fact patterns that participants will be able to digest and engage in lively discussions about the cases. The course will also cover how ADA laws interact with other laws and protections in the workplace to include but not limited to: FMLA, Workers Compensation and Confidentiality.
What you will learn:
Participants in the course will better understand the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), facts about ADA, scenarios that may result in allegations, steps to address, report, and minimize claims of ADA violations. The course will cover reasonable accommodations, liability and organizational responsibilities are also included in the course.
